New FCKEditor Release – Version 3.3

New FCKEditor Release - Version 3.3Hey everyone, exciting news!

Dean Lee just released his latest version of the FCKEditor, and let me just say, I think it's a great update!.

A couple of things are new in this version that I think are exciting.

  • First, one of the big concerns with the last version is its apparent complexity.  Many users found it too hard to understand and overwhelming with features.

This version is great because it lets you customize your tool menu, allowing to include the features you want, and exclude those you don't

  • Second thing that is great about this release is that it is now integrated with the default tools you see above the editor.  Many of you are used to using these icons to manage your pictures.  In the previous releases, this was not possible.  Now, you can use either the default icons or the FCKEditor's built in image icon.

Check out this video on how to install and set up this new release of the FCKEditor.

Thanks for the awesome mods to Deans FCKEditor!
I am trying to change the background color of the comments box (not the text bg, but the area surrounding it) and am not sure how to. I am guessing using a code snippet in the settings for FCKEditor, but not sure what and how.  I want to keep the gradient, just change the overall color.
Do you happen to know how?
    Thanks again.

Hi! Great tutorial, thanks very much. Do you know if the FCKeditor is compatible with OptimizePress – without messing up the shortcodes in Optimizepress?many  thanks!

Thank you so much!  Really appreciate it!
Two questions: 1.) To embed flash video, do I still need to have a flash video player installed on my site?  Forgive my ignorance, I'm really just getting started!
      2.  If I wanted to create a sales page with a delayed call to action button, what would be the best way to do that?  I think it requires some javascripting . . . can that be placed directly in the html portion of the editor?  Can you point me to a resource for creating something like that?
Again, appreciate this ultra easy to use plugin!
